I can’t feel anything on the exterior of my anus but I have blood on the toilet paper sometimes.. my anus is not scratched so is there any other explanation other than an internal hemorrhoid?
and if it is so.. is there any natural treatment or an over the counter medication i can use?

Great natural treatment for hemorrhoids is Rue Care Oil. Pay attention to have enough fiber in your daily food and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day – it helps with bowel movement. Bleeding occurs when hard stool is rubbing on the inflamed veins ( hemorrhoids) which fracture and bleed, so keeping your stool soft is imperative.

This treatment is usually performed on internal hemorrhoids, but it can be successfully used on external hemorrhoids as well?

To answer your question, no. Rubber bands are used for internal hemorrhoids.

Some diets that you can do is to increase your water and fiber intakes. Taking warm water baths for about 15 mins a day will also help.

I recommend this site which has quite alot of info on hemorrhoids http://www.bestnaturalhemorrhoidstreatment.com/ and i personally had bought h miracle which i also found there and it has worked for my wife to get rid of her hemorrhoids. It’s a home based remedy solution that you can use at home. See if you can benefit from it as well.

Hope this helps.

Hemorrhoids do not usually cause any urinary symptoms – they are connected to two different exits – one is your urethra and the other is your rectum and they are not connected. Straining to pee could be caused by constipation and a full bowel but not by hemorrhoids.

I recently found out that I have an internal hemorrhoid and now I am consipated without having a bowel movement for 4 days due to the pain associated with passing them. I was wondering if stool softeners help soften the stool that is, well, first in line to pass. If not what are some ways to alleviate the pain associated with passing stool? I am already on hydrocortizone suppositories and stool softeners.

Hmm, I see what you are asking and that is a good question. I really feel for you as well. Childbirth gave me some of those(external) and they took several years to go away. I would call your dr asap so you dont prolong your suffering. Maybe a, uh, what the heck is it called…the water with the hose you can buy at the store to help you go… Why cant I think of the name?

Worst case scenario…this is gonna sound bad…oh Lord. How close is it to…coming out? You may want to put on a latex glove and poke around to see if you can help get it out… I know, I know, but after four days of suffering sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do…to "do" what you gotta "do".

I don’t think so….. but thanks for that visual….lol…

I had a internal hemorrhoid with my first pregnancy, And I was wondering does the anus ever go back to normal? Was wondering if anyone had the same problem?? & knows what i mean i doesn’t like the same or normal anymore any advicee would be great thansk

I had my daughter 14 years ago and no it hasn’t gone back to normal yet. I don’t know if I had asked my doctor about it back then if anything could have been done for it or not. I was embarrassed to ask back then. I would ask your ob/gyn about it. I am sure they get the same question all the time.

i have rectal bleeding and painful. I have had blood in my stool for 2 months now.My ESR and WBC are elevated, my hemoglobin is within normal though.doc put me on ANALPRAM coz i also have internal hemmorhoids and irritation in my anal canal…the pain is lesser now but the blood in my stool still there. I have normal and regular bowel movement but my bowel sounds are hyperactive. I have no abdominal pain thanks God. Solely a rectal pain. Im taking tylenol when pain kicks in usually at night. Im afraid to have colonoscopy im too young to have that. My doc did anoscopy and he found out internal hemorrhoids and irritation in my anal canal. Is it necessary to have colonoscopy at my age?.. pls somebody can help me what to do…

Bleeding is common for internal hemorrhoids, however, pain not unless internal hemorrhoid prolapse (protrude out of anus). In this case they can be very painful. I successfully treated my hemorrhoids with Rue Care Oil. However, because of other symptoms you’re mentioning I suggest you make further checking by doctor.

Painful rectum area worse after hard bowel movement. Had Colon screening told I have one internal hemorrhoid. How to get rid of this problem.

We are about the same age. Diet will play a part and it sounds like your case is mild, so a good herbal treatment for inflammation should help considerably. Rather than repeat the content of hemroids.us, I’ll suggest that you visit that site and take in the information there. Good luck!

I’m only 25, which seems awfully young, considering that for several years now I’ve had an on-again, off-again dull pain during and after defecation. I’ve assumed it to be internal hemorrhoids, so I’ve started squatting to poop and that helps a lot. But still the pain flares up every now and again. If they really are hemorrhoids, why don’t they go away?? They actually started not too long after I started experimenting with anal sex, could that have anything to do with it?

hemorrhoid will never go away.. but this step will avoid you from getting hemorrhoid often..

1. Consume more fruit and vegetables, you need more diet fiber
2. stop drinking alcohol, coffee or smoke
3. don’t do any heavy exercise
4. drink lot’s of water each day a least 2 Liter.
5. Most important, don’t experiment with anal sex again.

hope this will help…

The last two days I have had a bloody stool. I am not sure if this blood is internal or external. I think that it is coming from external cracks around the anus. It is painful. Is there something that I can do to relieve this. Is this something that I should go to the doctor about? I know I should but I really really don’t want to have a doctor scope me out if I can do something myself. I just had a child 4 months ago and tore really bad while giving birth. As a result I have some external hemroids. If this the problem. Please help me because I am too embarassed to talk to anyone about this I know or a doctor.

This could be due to be hemorrhoids, anal fissures, polyps, Crohn’s Disease, peptic ulcer disease, and diverticulitis. Generally, the closer the bleeding site is to the anus, the blood will be a brighter red. Thus, bleeding from the anus, rectum, and the sigmoid colon tend to be bright red, whereas bleeding from the transverse colon and the right colon (transverse and right colon are several feet away from the anus) tend to be dark red or maroon colored. Stomach ulcers caused by ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin are common causes of upper GI bleeding. It’s possible that it could be due to hemorrhoids or constipation. If constipation is an issue, you need to add more fiber to your diet, drink enough liquids, and possibly laxatives. If it is not due to constipation, then you will need to see your doctor for an exam and testing to determine what the exact cause may be.
