    Hi Midway Entirety,

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins around the anus. If you feel pain after sitting for too long and aren’t able to stand up fast, or you keep on changing to sit on one "cheek" and then change to the other, you could have an abscess-pus behind the sphincter muscle.

Not easy to diagnose if you don’t know what you are looking for and also causing pain when going to the toilet, although a different pain than hemorrhoids pain.

Do consult your doctor as unlike hemorrhoids, you can’t get rid of the pus by simply changing your lifestyle.
